Projects tab > Section 1 – PROJECTS:

⚙ > /FlowFitTMS/#/parameters/project

The Projects section of the Projects tab helps customize naming and path patterns at the project-level.

1. Project Number: use the drop-down menu to choose one of the predetermined project naming formats or click on the Custom toggle button to open a Project Display Naming Pattern dialogue box to personalize the naming format.
   
   

2. Source Document Naming Pattern: This section helps to define the naming pattern of source documents by choosing various keys (start typing in % to see all keys).
   i.e.: The pattern below will generate 210217-001_DocName_FR.docx
   
   

3. Source Document Name Max. Length: Helps to avoid document names which are too long for the system, such as FlowFit or CAT tools server document repositories.
   
   

4. Work Document Naming Pattern:
   This section helps to define the naming pattern of work and completed documents.
   Pro tip: We recommend using source and target language codes, as well as service codes (PREP, TRA, REV, etc.) to keep a clean record of all document updates in FlowFit. For ex: 210217-001_DocName_TRA_FR.docx

5. Project Directory Path Pattern: this section helps define the project directory path by choosing various keys.
   
   

6. Short Text Max Length: this section lets you decide how many characters can be allowed in the Short Request field of FlowFit-TMS and of the FlowFit Client portal new request form.
   To disable the Short Request functionality in the Client portal, enter ‘’0’’ characters as the maximum value.

Projects tab > Section 2 – AUTHORIZED FILE EXTENSIONS:

The AUTHORIZED FILE EXTENSIONS section allows to list all file extensions authorized for upload by FlowFit 3 portals.

1. Project management:
   All file extensions which can be uploaded as source documents within /FlowFitTMS. For ex: If .JPG or .PNG is not listed here, users cannot upload images.
   
   

2. Client Portal:
   All file extensions which can be uploaded as source documents by requesters within /FlowFitClient. For ex: If .PDF is not listed, requesters cannot upload .PDF as source documents.
   
   

3. Provider Portal:
   All file extensions which can be uploaded as work documents by provides within /FlowFitProvider. For ex: If .xliff is not listed, providers cannot upload .xliff as work documents.
   
   

4. Reference Documents: All file extensions which can be uploaded as reference documents by users within /FlowFitTMS and /FlowFitClient. For ex: If .mp4 is not listed, users cannot upload .mp4 as reference documents.
