The Trados Studio parameters page is divided into three vertical configuration sections which will be detailed in the next sections:
FlowFit/Studio connector
GroupShare Project Server
GroupShare Translation Memory Server
⚙ > Parameters > Section 1: FlowFit/Studio connector
Enabled: This option allows to activate or deactivate the Trados Studio connector within your FlowFit-TMS environment. If disabled, all the Trados Studio options in the other screen will no longer be available and you will not have access to the Studio project management functions.
Test connection: This button allows to confirm the successful configuration of the Studio/FlowFit integration.
FlowFit/Studio API URL: This fields permits to specify your Trados Studio server API link with the protocol and port use.
I.e.: http://SDL Trados GroupShareServerAdresss:80/SDL Trados GroupShareservices/
Project location: This field permits to specify the local directory where the Trados Studio projects will be created and stored.
Project templates location: This field permits to specify the local directory where the Trados Studio project templates will be saved after their upload in the next Templates tab.
Project title naming pattern: This option allows to define the naming convention which will be used to name newly created Trados Studio projects, based on the information already existing in the associated FlowFit project.
The following variables are available:
● %PROJECT_TITLE%: Project descriptive title
● %NUM_PROJECT%: Project number
● %PROJECT_CODE%: Project unique identifier (contained in project direct URLs)
● %CLIENT_NAME%: Name of the client
● %CLIENT_CODE%: Code of the client
● %LANG_SOURCE%: Source Language of the project
● %LANG_TARGET%: Target Languages of the project
● %SPACE%: Character Space
● %_UNDERLINE%: Character _
Project description naming pattern: This option allows to define a convention for the information which will need to be included in the newly created Trados Studio project description field, based on the information already existing in the associated FlowFit project. The same variables can be used as in the Project title naming pattern.
⚙ > Parameters > Section 2: GroupShare Project Server
Enabled: This option allows to activate or deactivate the connection between the Trados Studio projects and the GroupShare project server. If disabled, the Trados Studio projects will be created locally (as local projects) and will not be published on the GroupShare server (as server-based projects).
URL: This field permits to specify the GroupShare project server address.
Username: This field needs the GroupShare project server admin credentials.
Password: This field needs the GroupShare project server admin credentials.
Location: This field permits to specify the GroupShare server location (in the GroupShare organization) in which the local Trados Studio projects will be published upon creation, to become server-based projects.

Enabled: This option allows to activate or deactivate the connection between the Trados Studio projects and the GroupShare translation memory server. If disabled, the Trados Studio projects will not be able to access server-based TMs.
URL: This field permits to specify the translation memory server address.
Username: This field needs the GroupShare translation memory server admin credentials.
Password: This field needs the GroupShare translation memory server admin credentials.
