(v.3) Comment utiliser les paquets memoQ avec FlowFit

Voici les étapes à suivre si vous avez l'intention de :

• envoyer un package de traduction memoQ à un pigiste traduisant dans memoQ

• envoyer un package de traduction memoQ à un pigiste traduisant dans un autre outil de TAO que memoQ

• réimporter un fichier .mqxlz traduit hors memoQ pour le réviser dans memoQ

Comment créer et envoyer un paquet .mqout

1. Vérifier/créer votre projet FlowFit.

2. Créez votre projet memoQ à partir de FlowFit, puis votre paquet memoQ (fichier .mqout) à partir de votre application memoQ.

3. Vérifiez/Créez votre workflow : vous devriez voir des icônes orange memoQ pour les tâches memoQ.
   Assurez-vous que le statut des tâches est ''A venir'' jusqu'à ce que vos manipulations soient terminées.

4. Remplacez le document de travail de la tâche qui va être assignée à un pigiste par le fichier .mqout.
   

   

5. Assignez la tâche de traduction au pigiste (vous pouvez déjà assigner les autres tâches, ou vous pouvez les assigner plus tard).

6. Démarrez votre projet FlowFit (ou modifiez le statut du projet de "En attente" à "Ouvert").

7. Vous devriez maintenant voir que le statut de votre tâche de traduction est ''A faire'' : cela signifie que le paquet .mqout a été envoyé au pigiste.

   

8. Une fois que le pigiste a importé son paquet .mqout dans memoQ et traduit son contenu, il doit cliquer sur Livrer/Retourner dans memoQ pour s'assurer que le réviseur aura accès à sa traduction dans son projet memoQ.
   

   

9. Si le pigiste a traduit hors ligne (sans être connecté au serveur de mémoires memoQ), ou dans un autre outil de TAO que memoQ, il téléchargera un fichier xliff bilingue (avec l'extension .mqxlz) comme document de travail complété lorsqu'il terminera sa tâche FlowFit.

Comment traduire un fichier xliff bilingue sans memoQ

En tant que linguiste, il est possible d'utiliser un package memoQ et de le traduire dans un autre outil de TAO que memoQ.
En effet, les paquets memoQ peuvent être décompressés pour travailler directement dans le fichier xliff bilingue qu'ils contiennent (au format .mqxlzmqxliff).
Il est conseillé de suivre la procédure recommandée par votre fournisseur d'outils de TAO, mais les manipulations suivantes devraient fonctionner dans la plupart des cas.

1. Ouvrez la tâche de traduction FlowFit qui vous a été attribuée.

2. Téléchargez et enregistrez le document de travail .mqout (il s'agit d'un paquet memoQ).

3. Renommez l'extension du fichier .mqout par .zip.

4. Cliquez avec le bouton droit de la souris sur le fichier .zip et "extraire tous" ou "décompresser tous" les fichiers.
   

   

5. Ouvrez le sous-dossier Documents et localisez le fichier .mqxlzmqxliff.
   

   

6. Ouvrez votre outil de TAO et ouvrez-y le fichier .mqxlzmqxliff.

7. Une fois la traduction terminée, choisissez l'option "Exporter la cible" (et non l'option "Exporter dans un format de fichier bilingue") dans votre outil de TAO. Votre fichier cible doit être au format .mqxlzmqxliff.

8. Lorsque vous terminez votre tâche FlowFit, veillez à téléverser votre fichier cible .mqxlzmqxliff.
   

Comment réimporter un fichier .

mqxliff traduit

1. Ouvrez le projet memoQ (comme raccourci, vous pouvez cliquer sur l'icône orange memoQ depuis FlowFit).

2. Téléchargez le fichier traduit .mqxlz mqxliff qui est joint en tant que document de travail de la tâche de révision.
   

   

3. Ne double-cliquez pas sur le fichier .mqxlz mqxliff pour éviter de créer un autre projet.

4. Ouvrez votre projet memoQ et votre document memoQ dans l'éditeur memoQ pour vérifier si la traduction s'y trouve déjà (si le pigiste a travaillé dans votre serveur memoQ, il n'y a pas d'étape supplémentaire à faire).

5. Si vous ne voyez pas la traduction dans votre projet memoQ, réimportez le fichier .mqxlz mqxliff en choisissant l'option ''Mise à jour à partir d'un fichier bilingue''.
   

   

6. Le réviseur interne devrait maintenant être en mesure de voir la traduction dans son éditeur memoQ et de procéder à la révision.

7. Une fois que le réviseur a terminé son travail avec memoQ, il peut lui être demandé de téléverser son document cible révisé (par exemple, dans le format DOCX) comme document de travail terminé lorsqu'il complète sa tâche de révision FlowFit, afin que ce document puisse être livré.

8. Pour exporter un document cible depuis memoQ, vous pouvez utiliser l'option ''Exporter la cible - Choisir le chemin''.
   

   

   

9. S’il y a une tâche de livraison automatique juste après la tâche de révision, le document cible complété et téléchargé par le réviseur sera automatiquement envoyé au demandeur quelques secondes après la fin de la tâche de révision.

(v.3) How to handle memoQ packages from FlowFit

Here are the steps you may need to follow if you intend to :

• send a memoQ translation package to a freelancer translating in memoQ

• send a memoQ translation package to a freelancer translating in another CAT-tool than memoQ

• reimport an .mqxlz file translated outside of memoQ to revise it in memoQ

How to create and send an .mqout package

1. Check/Create your FlowFit project.

2. Create your memoQ project from FlowFit and then your memoQ package (.mqout file) from your memoQ application.

3. Check/Create your workflow: you should see orange memoQ icons in the memoQ tasks. Make sure that the tasks status are ‘’Upcoming” until your manipulations are done.

4. Replace the work document from the task which is going to be assigned to a freelancer by the .mqout package.
   

   

5. Assign the translation task to the freelancer (you can already assign the other tasks as well, or you can assign those later on).

6. Start your FlowFit project (or change the project status from ‘’Pending” to “Open”).

7. You should now see your Translation task status as ‘’Ready’’ : this means the .mqout package has been sent to the freelancer.

8. Once the freelancer has imported his .mqout package in memoQ and translated its content, he should click on Deliver/Return in memoQ to make sure the revisor will have access to his translation in his memoQ project.
   

   

9. If the freelancer has been translating offline (not connected to the memoQ TM server), or in another CAT-tool than memoQ, he will be uploading a bilingual xliff file (with the .mqxlz file extension) as his completed work document when completing his FlowFit translation task.

How to translate a bilingual xliff file without memoQ

As a linguist, it is possible to use a memoQ package and translate it in another CAT-tool than memoQ.
Indeed, memoQ packages can be unzipped to work directly with the bilingual xliff file in it (in the .mqxlz file mqxliffifffile format).
It is advised to follow the procedure recommended directedly by your CAT-tool provider, but the following manipulations should work in most cases.

1. Open the FlowFit translation task assigned to you.

2. Download and save the .mqout work document (this is a memoQ package).

3. Rename the .mqout file extension by .zip.

4. Right-click on the .zip file and ‘'extract all’' or ‘'unzip all’' files.
   

   

5. Open the Documents sub-folder and locate the .mqxlz filemqxliffifffile.
   

   

6. Open your CAT-tool and open your .mqxlz mqxliff file in it.

7. Once the translation is done, choose the “Export target'' option (not the ‘'Export in a bilingual file format’') from your CAT-tool. Your target file should be an .mqxlz mqxliff file format.

8. When completing your FlowFit task, make sure to upload your target .mqxlz mqxliff file.
   

How to reimport a translated .

mqxliff file

1. Open the memoQ project (as a shortcut, you can click on the orange memoQ icon from FlowFit).

2. Download the .mqxlz mqxliff translated file which is attached as the Revision task work document.
   

   

3. Do not double-click on the .mqxlz mqxliff to avoid creating another project.

4. Open your memoQ project and memoQ document in the memoQ editor to check if the translation is already there (if the freelancer has worked within your memoQ server, there is no extra step to do).

5. If you cannot see the translation in your memoQ project, reimport the .mqxlz mqxliff file choosing the ‘'Update from bilingual file’' option.
   

   

6. The internal revisor should now be able to see the translation in his memoQ editor and proceed with the revision.

7. Once the revisor is done working with memoQ, he may be asked to attach his revised target document (for ex. in the DOCX file format) as his completed work document when completing his FlowFit revision task, so that this document can be delivered.

8. To export a target document from memoQ, you can use the ‘'Export target - Choose path’' option.
   

   

   

9. If there is an automatic delivery task right after the Revision task, the completed target document uploaded by the reviser will be automatically sent to the requester a few seconds after the revision task is completed.
