The Assignment view allows project managers to view and manage both their resources' availability and unavailability.
By default, the Assignment view landing page displays resources' availability and unavailability calendar.
Check the Unavailability only option in the left to view the resources unavailability calendar.
Use the Week, 2 Weeks and Month tabs, the arrows, or the calendar in the top right corner to select the appropriate time range for the displayed results.
Click on Refresh (in the toolbar) to update results you see in real time.
Use the Filters (in the toolbar) to filter the displayed results.
The numbers of resources displayed in the calendar is shown in the top right corner.
Click on Unavailability (top right, in the toolbar) to create a new unavailability time slot (resources can also add their unavailability themselves).

How to view and manage resources availability
Blue rounds show the number of tasks due to be delivered during the day by the resource.
If there is no figure in a box, it means that the tasks to be performed (for a given schedule) are spread over several days and you must refer to the next day which contains the figure to see the number of tasks that explain the workload.

Coloured rectangle slots show the daily percentage of availability left for the resource:
Green: the resource is 0 to 79% busy (= has 20%-time available for new assignments)
Yellow: the resource is 80% to 99% busy (= closed to be fully booked for the day)
Red: the resource is 100% busy (= fully booked for the day)

Click on a coloured rectangle slot in the calendar to:
View more details of assigned tasks: deadline, estimated and spent time, completion percentage per task
View resources remaining free time for the day (hourglass)
Reassign tasks to another resource or change task deadlines (hamburger menu)

How to view and manage resources unavailability
Check the Unavailability only option in the left to view the resources unavailability calendar.
Use the Type drop-down menu to display one specific kind of unavailability (ex: Vacation).
Use the Filters (in the toolbar) to filter the displayed results.
Click on Unavailability (top right, in the toolbar) to create a new unavailability time slot (resources can also add their unavailability themselves).
Click on a coloured rectangle slot in the calendar to:
View more details of the unavailability slot: type, date, comments, created by, updated by.
Edit details of the unavailability slot (pen symbol)
Delete the unavailability slot (trash can symbol)

Unavailability types can be customized by the FlowFit admin under:

How to configure collective holidays
Bank holidays or any form of ‘’collective non-working days’’ must be added by the FlowFit admin under:
âš™ > Assignment > Holiday Names
âš™ > Assignment > Holidays

If Holidays are configured (ex: Thanksgiving) they will be displayed in green in the Assignment calendar and will ensure an accurate calculation of availability for all resources entered in the system (internal or external users, PMs, Admins, etc.).
For example, here on Thanksgiving, all users will become unavailable for the entire day.
