How to import a memoQ project into FlowFit

It is possible to automatically import a memoQ project (created outside of FlowFit, for ex.) into FlowFit and instantly create a matching FlowFit project with it.
Only one memoQ project can be imported as one FlowFit project, it is not possible to pair up several memoQ projects to the same FlowFit project.

1. Open your FlowFit project Information tab and locate the memoQ section.

2. If a memoQ project is already visible in the memoQ section, you will need to detach this memoQ project first.

3. Click on the Attach project button.

4. 

   In the Select a memoQ project popup window, enter the number or name of the existing memoQ project which needs to be attached to the FlowFit project, or use the filters to find it.

5. 

   Click on the memoQ project to attach and click on Select.

6. In the Attach the memoQ project popup window, click on Attach at the bottom right if no changes are needed to the memoQ project. Otherwise, you can apply filters to the existing memoQ documents or change the analysis settings before attaching the memoQ project to the FlowFit project.

   

7. Once your memoQ project is attached, you will see it in your FlowFit project Information tab, you will be able to view the memoQ analysis and update your memoQ project from FlowFit.

How to Create a New FlowFit Project Using an Imported memoQ Project

Automatically importing a memoQ project (created outside of FlowFit through an API, for example) into FlowFit streamlines workflows by instantly creating a matching FlowFit project. Once a new memoQ project is created, the corresponding FlowFit project will be generated within 5 minutes.

Prerequisites

This feature must be configured by a FlowFit admin as an automation. The configuration can be done by navigating to:

⚙ > Connectors > memoQ > Project import profile.

Key Points:

1. Automatic Creation: The FlowFit project is generated automatically based on the imported memoQ project. This ensures consistency and eliminates manual setup.

2. No Manual Triggering: This process cannot be manually triggered by a PM.
