#Article-1834583674
Once services are configured, workflows can be created to assemble several ‘’regular’’ service (in yellow) and/or group services (in blue). Different types of projects may require different workflows : you may need to configure at least a couple of different workflow.
Pro tip:
We recommend you to first adjust existing workflows to your needs and test how they behave within projects and assigned tasks. Then, use the ‘’Copy’’ option if you need to create more workflows afterwards.
⚙ > Administration > Workflows > Simple Workflow
To create a workflow, click on the gear icon in the top bar to access ⚙ > Administration > Workflows and click on Add to create a new one.
In the Name field (mandatory), name your workflow.
In the Description field, enter any information you think is valuable. This field is not mandatory.
The Services list lists all the services you previously created. To create your workflow, simply drag and drop each step of the workflow. To delete a step, click on it and press on the delete button on your keyboard. If you want, you can assign a resource to each step by clicking on this symbol to open a Task Definition window. Activate the Deliverable button when a delivery is required. Once your selection is done, click on OK.
Click on Save.
⚙ > Administration > Workflows > Group Workflow
Instead of creating Workflows based on services (language pairs), you can create generic workflows that can be used on multilingual projects. These Workflows will use the Service Groups (in blue) previously created, as well as Service Categories.
To create a workflow based on groups, click on the Groups tab and select the appropriate services and assign a service category.
Creating a Multilingual Workflow Using Service Groups
To configure workflows:
Click on the gear icon in the top right corner.
Navigate to ⚙ > Administration > Workflows.
When creating a multilingual workflow, you can use:
Unilingual services (marked with a yellow line on the left)
Multilingual service groups (marked with a blue line on the left)
How Service Groups Work
Service groups are useful for tasks which can be performed in multiple languages (e.g., translation, revision).
Individual services are used for tasks where language is not relevant (e.g., formatting, delivery).
When adding a service group to a workflow:
Click on the top-right hamburger menu to select a service category.
If different service categories exist within the same group, the category helps filter and narrow down available services.
Only services matching the selected category will be available when the workflow is created.
