Β
It is possible to create special Workflows which will only be visible to and associated with FlowFit users being part of specific modules, depending on which source and target language the FlowFit project has been set up with.
This is particularly useful if working with multilingual projects, using Generic Workflows (workflows which can be used with any language pair combination) and having dedicated teams per language pairs, especially designated teams per specific target language (for example, the ββFrenchββ and ββSpanishββ teams of translators and project managers being part of the respectiveΒ ββFrench moduleββ and ββSpanish moduleββ).
Create a workflow under
β > Administration > Workflows if you do not have any yet.Create modules under
β > General > Modules if you do not have any yet.Make sure your resources (linguists + PMs) are being assigned to a module.
Β
Then, under β > Administration > Module Workflows:
Select a Workflow (for example, the ββGeneric Translation Workflowββ)
Select a source language or check the box to select all languages (for example, ββEnglish Canadaββ)
Select a target language or check the box to select all languages (for example, ββFrench Canadaββ)
Select the module (for example, ββFrench moduleββ) you would like to link the workflow to.
Β
With this ββFrench workflow moduleββ setup used in the example, for each FlowFit project submitted with English (Canada) as the sole source language and French (Canada) as the sole target language, the workflow applied will be the ββGeneric Translation Workflowββ and will be associated with the French team of translators and PMs which are part of the French module, as opposed to be visible from the Spanish team, which is part of the Spanish module.
