ANALYSIS

Work Types: This parameter allows you to select the work types so that they will be compatible with automatic LogiTerm analysis.

Exclude analysis files: File extensions added to the exclusion list will not be analyzed automatically.

⚙ > Connectors > LogiTerm > Word Weight

/FlowFitTMS/#/logiterm/logiterm-wordweight

The LogiTerm Word Weight tab is where you can create a template to define the word weights. It will be used to calculate the number of computed words for each task.

You can create a default word weight template, but you can also create additional templates that can be linked to a specific client (client form - General information tab) or resource (resource form - Details tab).

To configure the word weight, click on Add and fill in all required fields.

Description: This parameter allows you to specify the name of the template you would like to create.

Default (client): This parameter allows you to specify whether the template will be the default one for all clients.

Default (resource): This parameter allows you to specify whether the template will be the default one for all resources.

Others: All the other parameters allow you to specify how much percent the parameter represents compared to a new word. The value must be between 0 and 100, 0 % for an exact match and 100 % for a new word.

⚙ > Connectors > LogiTerm > Templates

/FlowFitTMS/#/logiterm/logiterm-templates

The LogiTerm Templates tab allows you to create LogiTerm templates.

To create a LogiTerm template, perform the following steps:

  1. Click on Add

  2. Provide a description of the template.

  3. Check the Default option if the template will be used as the default one.

  4. In the Modules field, specify the modules to be used for that specific template.

  5. In the Minimum similarity (%) field, set a minimum percentage of similarity between the analyzed sentence and the reference sentence.

  6. In the Segmentation at colons field, check the box if you want to activate this option. (The option enable a more flexible pretranslation of documents depending on end-sentence markers. Terminotix recommend that you leave this option unchecked unless you notice an erroneous segmentation in your document.)

  7. In the Segmentation at semicolons field, check the box if you want to activate this option. (The option enable a more flexible pretranslation of documents depending on end-sentence markers. Terminotix recommend that you leave this option unchecked unless you notice an erroneous segmentation in your document.)

  8. In the Output type field, select an output type from the drop-down menu.

    1. No pretranslated document (Report only) - This analysis has to be performed in LogiTerm.

    2. Highlight all matches (no replacements) generates an analysis report and a marked up copy of each file in which matching text is highlighted in color (recommended option).

    3. Highlight all matches and replace exact matches only generates an analysis report, and only sentences with exact matches are translated.

    4. Highlight and replace all matches generates an analysis report, and all sentences are translated.

  9. In the Sort matches by field, select the sort of match you want from the drop-down menu. (Enable to control the sequence in which matches are presented in the LogiTrans Matches tool.)

  10. In the Weighed according to field, check the appropriate box to meet your needs. (Enable to control the sequence in which matches are presented in the LogiTrans Matches tool.)

  11. In the Sentences field, check the box if you want to activate this option. (As opposed to the Terminology option. The Sentences option must be checked unless you want a terminology analysis only.)

  12. In the Machine translation engine field, select the machine translation engine to connect to LogiTerm.

  13. In the Terminology section, specify the termbases to be used and check the options that meet your needs.

    1. Insert target term (bilingual marking): compound terms and acronyms will be translated and shown in red in the document.

    2. Underline all terms: all terms shown in colour will be underlined. If not, they will be shown in colour but not underlined.

    3. Join words in compound terms: the spaces inside compound terms will be joined using grey double opening quotation marks.

    4. Show source term: source-language terms will be left in the text, followed by their equivalents in brackets. If you uncheck this option, the source term will be replaced by its equivalent.

    5. Flag multiple equivalents: a plus sign (+) will be appended to terms that correspond to multiple records in your pretranslation module.

    6. Insert target uniterm: replace all single word terms with the corresponding target language term.
